Job DescriptionAcumed LLC, a global industrial organization under Marmon Holdings and backed by Berkshire Hathaway, is seeking a Sales Representative to drive adoption and sales of our products. The role focuses on delivering technical assistance in the operating room, building market acceptance, and ensuring high quality customer support.
Responsibilities- Execute business plans to identify and close new business opportunities.
- Identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions through written, telephone, and face‑to‑face communication.
- Conduct field sales calls for assigned accounts and territories, including on‑call and operating room consultations.
- Provide excellent post‑sale follow‑up, including delivery date coordination, in‑service training, and product replenishment.
- Communicate product updates, portfolio changes, and educational programs to current and prospective accounts.
- Cross‑sell additional products and introduce new solutions as they become available.
- Drive customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain customer records in the company’s CRM tool.
- Adhere to the Adva Med code of conduct, protecting confidential information and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Coach, train, or mentor Associate Sales Representatives as needed.
- Stay current with sales skills, product knowledge, and industry trends.
- Participate in trade shows, sales meetings, promotional activities, and professional associations as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (business, medical, or related) or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of successful sales experience, preferably in medical devices.
- Experience as an Acumed Sales Representative (9–12 months preferred).
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with physicians and surgical personnel.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals in the relevant area.
- Knowledge of marketing strategy, product demonstration, and sales control systems.
- Comfortable working in emergency and operating room environments.
- Ability to secure necessary hospital credentialing.
- Reliable transportation.
The position requires frequent surgery visits and observations. The incumbent must obtain hospital‑required credentials.
CompensationThis role is 100% commission. Estimated annual earnings range from $85,000 to $130,000 based on historical performance. Actual earnings vary with sales results.
