Location: Remote (from Eastern or Central Time Zones) with Extensive Travel
Salary: $40-$55/hour + 1.5× Paid Overtime (30-40 additional hours/week) + Per Diem + Annual Bonus

DescriptionOur client in the power solutions and electrical infrastructure industry is seeking an experienced Field Service Crew Leader to lead transformer-focused field operations. This hands-on leadership role supervises and works alongside a team of technicians supporting the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of power transformers. The ideal candidate brings deep transformer expertise, proven field leadership experience, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and execution.
This role offers stability, substantial overtime, a predictable travel rotation with scheduled paid time off, and strong earning potential while supporting critical power infrastructure projects nationwide.
- Lead and work alongside a crew of field technicians during transformer installation & repair
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of a three-person field service crew
- Assign tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently, accurately, and safely
- Prepare, maintain, and submit project field documentation and service reports
- Serve as the on-site technical expert for power transformer assembly, service, & repair
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve complex technical issues in the field
- Conduct job-site safety briefings and lead daily team meetings
- Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with company and industry standards
- Provide regular updates on project status, safety incidents, and scope changes to management
- Perform testing activities in accordance with project specifications and quality requirements
- Coordinate material needs and ensures required parts and supplies are available on-site
- Ensure tools, equipment, and company vehicles are maintained in safe operating condition
- 2+ years’ hands-on experience installing, maintaining, & repairing power transformers required
- 1+ years of experience leading or technicians is required
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints is required
- Strong leadership, project execution, and commitment to safety & quality is required
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Ability to travel 3-4 weeks at a time and work 7 days per week at project sites is required
