Job Overview

URM Stores, Inc. employs a Class A CDL Delivery Driver who excels in exceptional customer service and efficient freight handling. The role requires maintaining DOT logs, safety compliance, unloading customer orders, and ensuring secure transport across Idaho, Oregon, and Montana.

• Maintain DOT logs in full compliance with regulations.
• Follow URM safety standards and adopt a safety‑first approach.
• Unload customer orders case by case using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or lift gates for items ranging from 1 to 80 pounds.
• Unload products from trailers across three temperature‑controlled zones:
  Frozen (0 to –5°C), Chilled (35–40°C), and Ambient.
• Adjust and configure delivery routes as needed for customer service and efficiency.
• Verify orders to ensure correct products are loaded and delivered.
• Load trucks in a safe, organized, logical sequence.
• Secure all loads properly before transport.
• Perform duties in all weather conditions.
• Be available to work weekends and select holidays.
• Deliver top‑note customer service with a positive attitude.

• Valid Class A CDL required; doubles endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain it shortly after hire.
• 21 years of age or older with current FMCSA approval.
• Current DOT medical card and clean driving record with strong safety commitment.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or move freight averaging 40–80 pounds, occasional loads up to 100 pounds.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Two or more years of experience strongly preferred; food service or route delivery experience is a plus.

• Hourly wage starting at $27.23 per hour and scaling with experience up to $33.21 per hour.
• Annual contractual wage increases each June.

• One‑week paid vacation after six months and additional week after first anniversary.
