- Long term growth opportunity within an expanding engineering organization
- Design and refine mechanical and electromechanical components for custom products used in regulated applications
- Translate customer requirements into manufacturable concepts, detailed models, drawings, and product specifications
- Lead prototype builds, design reviews, test planning, and verification activities through production release
- Partner closely with machining, assembly, quality, and supply chain teams to improve manufacturability, cost, and performance
- Create and maintain CAD models, bills of materials, engineering records, and revision controlled documentation
- Perform engineering analysis related to thermal performance, structural behavior, tolerance stack up, and material selection
- Support root cause investigations, product improvements, and risk reduction plans across multiple active projects
- Serve as a technical resource in customer discussions and provide clear status updates to internal stakeholders
- Contribute to product quality, schedule execution, and successful handoff into manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 5 plus years of mechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Solid Works experience and working knowledge of GD&T and drafting best practices
- Background with DFM, BOM management, prototype development, and production support
- Experience collaborating directly with manufacturing teams in a hands on setting
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and timelines with strong communication skills
- Exposure to regulated quality environments such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100 is valued
- Experience with motors, motion control, or other precision electromechanical assemblies is strongly preferred
- Comfort working on site and engaging regularly with production and quality teams
- Medical device, aerospace, defense, or other high reliability product experience
