Compensation
Hourly pay $10.00 to $14.00 per hour, with commission up to 8% on transactions (average additional $3.15 per hour on top of hourly rate).

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for pawn store locations across the nation. The Retail Sales Associate works with the entire store staff to ensure excellent customer service on both the lending and retail sides. The role involves greeting, engaging, and interacting with customers, processing sales, loans, and other transactions, and maintaining a professional, positive store environment.
Responsibilities- Greet and interact with customers to build rapport and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise display.
- Execute sales and loan transactions following established policies and regulations.
- Handle cash and negotiable items in accordance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Answer incoming calls in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Collaborate with coworkers and managers, demonstrating respect and effective communication.
- Partner with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
- Successfully complete the assigned training.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Willingness and ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform duties for extended periods of time (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
- Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
- Ability to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic math calculations.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work in multiple locations based on business needs.
- Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate point‑of‑sale systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan InformationThe commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers may earn 2% to 8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Specific details are provided during the interview.
Additional NotesPay rates will not be below local minimum wage requirements. Employees will agree to a binding arbitration agreement to resolve disputes. Employment is subject to reasonable accommodation. The 401(k) program is available to employees 21 years of age or older.
