, you will oversee programs that help ensure IDNR’s properties, leases, and agreements are managed effectively, responsibly, and in alignment with the agency’s mission and operational goals.
- Lead Statewide Programs: Direct the operation of the Department’s concessions and leasing functions, including land, facility, agricultural, and property agreements.
- Oversee Property Management: Help manage and improve the Department’s statewide property management programs and administrative operations.
- Develop Policies & Procedures: Implement and administer statewide policies related to leases, easements, concessions, and revenue-generating agreements.
- Provide Strategic Leadership: Serve as a full-line supervisor, managing staff and supporting agency-wide operational goals.
- Manage Budgets & Resources: Direct annual budget preparation and assist with planning future operational and programmatic needs.
- Legislative & Interagency Coordination: Serve as a liaison on matters related to the Division of Realty and assist with legislative development and policy interpretation.
- Collaborate Across the Agency: Integrate programmatic responsibilities on an intra-agency basis to improve efficiency, coordination, and service delivery.

Required Qualifications
- Completion of four years of college.
- Four years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.
- Three years of experience preparing, reviewing, negotiating, or administering legal documents and contractual agreements.
- Three years of experience administering facility lease programs or similar property management functions.
- Three years of experience analyzing administrative programs and implementing effective operational improvements.
- Three years of experience exercising judgment and discretion in interpreting policies and procedures.
- Three years of experience developing and managing major agency programs.
- Three years of experience estimating and budgeting for personnel, space, equipment, and services.
- Applicants must successfully complete a background check and self-disclosure of criminal history.
- Requires a valid driver’s license
