We are seeking dependable and energetic individuals to join our team as Kitchen & Attraction Operators at Malibu Jack’s Indoor Family Entertainment Center. This is a hybrid position that combines responsibilities in our kitchen with supporting attraction operation and guest services. Team members in this role will prepare and serve food, maintain a clean and safe kitchen, and also operate attractions to provide guests with a fun and safe experience.
Evening and weekend availability is REQUIRED.
Prepare and Cook Food:
Follow recipes and cooking instructions to prepare and cook a variety of menu items such as pizzas, fries, and chicken strips.
Maintain Food Safety Standards:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food storage, handling, and preparation.
Monitor Kitchen Equipment:
Safely operate kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
Kitchen Support & Cleaning:
Regularly clean and sanitize kitchen areas, perform dishwashing, and maintain organization.
Cashiering:
Process transactions quickly and accurately.
Bartending (As Needed):
Serve beverages responsibly and check guest IDs.
Operate attractions safely and responsibly, following all procedures and guest safety guidelines.
Monitor guest activity on attractions to ensure proper use and a safe, enjoyable experience.
Communicate rules clearly and enforce safety expectations in a professional, friendly manner.
Provide assistance to guests with questions, directions, and support during their visit.
Maintain cleanliness throughout both guest and staff areas.
QualificationsPrevious kitchen, food service, or guest service experience preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Strong cleaning habits and attention to maintaining a tidy kitchen environment.
Comfortable operating attractions and enforcing safety rules with confidence.
Friendly, energetic, and team-oriented personality.
Strong communication and multitasking skills.
Must be comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 25-39 lbs.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
