• Lead and develop teams effectively by providing training, active listening, feedback, and clear expectations.
• Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, merchandising, and company initiatives.
• Introduce and lead company change efforts, implementing business solutions and communicating objectives to teams.
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
• Support customer service initiatives, including community outreach, and resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues.
• Develop and implement process improvement plans to ensure a high‑quality customer experience.
• Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing profit & loss statements, budgeting, forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and shrink mitigation.
• Supervise and develop hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, and fostering a sense of belonging.
• Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities and assignments, build relationships with key stakeholders, and measure progress toward goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, support the Open Door policy, and act with integrity and ethics.
• Serve customers by putting them first, using data for decision‑making, and balancing short‑ and long‑term priorities.
• Promote a culture of belonging, inclusion, and continuous learning.

• 2 years of college completion OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• For firearms‑selling facilities: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training.
• For ammunition‑selling facilities: current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility if required.
• Required to attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments.

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or equivalent through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
• Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
• General work experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination responsibilities.
