The essential duties and responsibilities of the Clinical Instructor are assigned by the School Director. The Clinical Instructor will teach full time at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise practicum students and may supervise student teachers. The Clinical Instructor will have opportunities to engage in service to the program, school, college, and/or University. Coursework content is related to emergent literacy, early literacy, literacy assessment, foundations of literacy instruction, content area literacy, and other aspects of literacy.
Candidate may supervise students in local field experiences. Candidate may teach online using the University LMS. The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and inclusive excellence of the academic community through their teaching, and/or service.
