Soliant has partnered with an excellent school district in the St. Louis area to find qualified, passionate Special Education Teachers (SPED). This is a full-time position open for the school year. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating inclusive and supportive learning environments for students with diverse learning needs. This position offers the flexibility of hourly employment under a W2 agreement, providing a rewarding opportunity for educators who value flexibility in their schedules.
Requirements- Must be licensed as a Special Education Teacher in the state of Missouri
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- School Year
- Full‑time: 37.5‑40 hours/week
- Onsite
- Caseload:
Co‑teaching role – Middle School – Mixed disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create inclusive learning environments.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of student performance and behavior.
