• Responsible for delivery trucks and merchandise on the trucks.
• Delivery and set-up of furniture in customer's home, removing old furniture when necessary. Complete all paperwork involved.
• Responsible for the condition of truck and to write daily truck maintenance reports.
• Backup warehouse duties when not on a delivery.
• Operate vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
• Assist with work orders as part of daily delivery route.
• Help unload freight trucks.
• Unpack and move merchandise to sales floor.
• Inspect and touch up merchandise prior to loading.
• Other duties as assigned

• Must have and maintain a good driving record in accordance with Ashley’s policy.
• Must be able to read maps and follow oral and written instructions.
• Heavy lifting required. May be required to carry heavy merchandise up stairs.
• Must maintain personal appearance by following Ashley’s dress code requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday.
• Experience driving a 26 foot Box Truck preferred.
• Ability to safely move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to maintain heavy physical activity during shift
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, and walk frequently
• Ability to work in in-door/out-door climate

• High school diploma required
• State appropriate valid Driver License

• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Expert

• Ability to safely move up to 75 lbs. or more with a helper
• Experience driving a 26 foot Box Truck preferred not required
