Laundry Specialist:

  • Manage daily laundry assignments efficiently and accurately.
  • Adhere to all departmental policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of the laundry facility, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing equipment.
  • Collect and sort soiled linens from designated areas.
  • Coordinate the sending, receiving, and organization of guest, employee, and household dry cleaning.
  • Record and replace empty chemical drums as needed.
  • Fold and organize linens and room items for optimal presentation.
  • Spot treat and process stained linens to ensure quality maintenance.
  • Monitor the efficiency of washers and dryers, keeping track of timing and volume.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry environment.
  • Support team members and assist with various tasks as needed.
  • Document lost and found items accurately.
  • Respond promptly to requests from room attendants and supervisors.
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures diligently.
  • Report any damages, discrepancies, or malfunctioning equipment to supervisors.
  • Assist in taking daily linen counts for the monthly inventory.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
  • Ability to adapt to varying workloads based on business needs.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills for daily tasks.
  • Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Resilience under time constraints and ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Effective at following instructions.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Uphold guest and hotel information confidentiality.
