Job Summary: Assists engineering teams in ensuring products meet safety, regulatory, and company standards by analyzing data, inspecting parts, and supporting root cause investigations.
Major Accountabilities:
- Quality Inspection & Testing: Perform in-process and final inspections, test raw materials, and verify torque/assembly specs.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on quality metrics (scrap, rework, defects) to identify trends.
- Documentation Support: Revise standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and update documentation systems.
- Problem Solving & Improvement: Participate in CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to solve quality issues.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Support production teams on the manufacturing floor and participate in project brainstorming sessions
Qualification:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical) or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9000), Lean Six Sigma tools, or manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and hands-on problem-solving skills
Health & Safety:
- Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures
- Must use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by the Company
