Heavy Equipment Operator, Construction Labor / Trades
APPRENTICE LABOR: Evans Grader & Paving is a growing Utah Valley construction company seeking general laborers. This role will assist foremen and operators with construction tasks, including but not limited to asphalt work, shoveling, laying and setting pipe, fueling, greasing, and maintaining construction equipment in a safe, productive, and efficient manner. Some small equipment operating will be required. Must be able to follow instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
We offer full-time and steady employment with overtime. Hourly rate depending on experience.
SKILLED GRADE OPERATOR: Operate a grader to place dirt to proper grade. Work with crew members and superintendents on various job sites.
ResponsibilitiesAssist foremen and operators with construction tasks, follow instructions from supervisors and implement construction plans.
Qualifications- Valid driver’s license
- 2+ years of experience operating a grader
- Compliance with quality requirements
- Train new team members
- Knowledge of operating GPS
- Strong understanding of grading techniques and construction safety
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- CPR/First Aid certification
- OSHA 10 preferred but not required
- Time tracking experience
- iPad knowledge
