Financial Controller

The Financial Controller will oversee financial operations and reporting, ensuring compliance and supporting strategic decision-making within the accounting & finance department. • Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Manage and improve accounting processes and systems.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
• Proven experience in financial management and reporting.
• Experience with Grants & Funding
• Experience with in the not-for-profit sector
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
