Overview
As a Project Engineer Sr. for the FBM Weapons System Infrastructure & Capabilities (WSIC) team, you’ll work on a broad range of projects to find innovative solutions to lead team members in solving complex problems as we position the program for sustained success for decades to come. The Milcons and Strategic Projects team is looking for motivated individuals to help activate upcoming Milcon projects supporting the future of the FBM D5 missile development, production, sustainment, and next generation missile programs.
Responsibilities- Support the Milcons and Strategic Projects team in planning and execution of Mil Con work across multiple program sites, scope, and Program Execution
- Ensure that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans
- Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
- Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers
- Support Ad hoc tasking by Program Technical Leaders
The position will require domestic travel.
Basic Qualifications- Project management AND/OR construction management experience in commercial, industrial, government, military or DoD facilities.
- Experience with Project Management, project engineering, AND/OR systems engineering.
- Experience developing and executing project plans
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (US citizenship required)
- Experience in the execution of engineering projects from start to finish
- Familiarity with the MILCON process.
- Proven and demonstrated leadership, organizational coordination, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with FBM and D5 Missile processing operations
- Experience with leading multi-disciplined Integrated Project Teams (IPTs)
- Experience in the formulation of proposals and bases of estimate (BOE)
- Experienced in CAMship and Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision capable of clear communication through multiple levels of senior and executive leadership
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar experience preferred
- Understand of the A&E design process and providing oversite of engineering design packages
- Experience preparing/reviewing the following facility engineering products:
Statements of Work, Facility Design Criteria, Specification documents and construction cost estimates - Experience in briefing and interfacing with senior level management and customers
- Excellent computer utilization skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
