Project Engineer; Level 2

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile modernization program as part of the Program Plans and Requirements (PP&R) team.

Role includes leading the establishment of LE2 processing requirements, integrating long‑range missile production plans, and coordinating with U.S. and U.K. submarine fleets.

• Evaluate the US Strategic Programs Operational Schedule Estimate (SPOSE) and UK Joint Programme Requirement (JPR) documents to determine fleet requirements.
• Coordinate with customers and stakeholders across the program to detail requirements, planning factors, ground rules, and program plans to develop a missile production program baseline.
• Utilize custom software to generate production master schedules, directives, and contract requirements.
• Support customer requests for detailed analyses, including What‑Ifs, SWF Change Directives, and other informal requests.
• Act as a change agent for Digital Transformation initiatives throughout the program.

• At least 3 years of related professional experience, preferably Project or Software Engineering.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Open Plan, or comparable scheduling tools.
• Experience with Navy customers or DoD production programs.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Final Secret clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with the Fleet Ballistic Missile program.
• Strong interpersonal and presentational skills with executives and customers.
• Data analytics and communication experience.
• Professional certifications (LSS Green Belt, CAPM, PMP, CSM, PSM).
• Experience in continuous improvement or digital transformation initiatives.

Position will be filled in Kings Bay, GA or Titusville, FL and requires periodic travel.

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance level:
Secret.

9x80 every other Friday off.
