Entry‑Level Civil Engineer

• Support the design of land development and site engineering projects
• Perform engineering calculations that directly influence design solutions
• Assist in preparing site plans, technical reports, and permit applications
• Work with industry tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrologic modeling software
• Help design systems related to grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management
• Collaborate with drafters and engineers to bring designs to life
• Research local codes, zoning regulations, and engineering standards
• Provide support to project managers on coordination, timelines, and deliverables
• Gradually take ownership of design tasks as experience grows

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Open to recent graduates or candidates with 0–3 years of experience
• Internship or academic exposure to site/land development is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
• Basic understanding of grading, drainage, and utility design principles
• Ability to apply engineering concepts and perform calculations
• FE Exam completed or working toward EIT certification (preferred)
• Exposure to tools like Hydro

  CAD (preferred)
• Interest in pursuing a Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, collaborative mindset, curiosity, and motivation to grow

Contract to Hire, Stamford, CT

Pay range: $31.65 – $40.00 per hour.
