Project Engineer, Engineering Design & Technologists

Position Summary

We are seeking a full‑time Project Engineer at our Stamford, CT location. This position works directly with the entire Engineering team and collaboratively with other departments, providing leadership and support of new product development.

• Manage the development of new products as assigned from concept through prototype, tooling, engineering builds, pilot runs and into mass production.
• Assure new products meet all approval agency requirements.
• Travel to Asian suppliers approx. 5% of time and other venues 5% in support of the product development process.
• Oversee testing and address any issues that arise throughout the product life cycle.
• Perform supervisory responsibilities of team members in accordance with the company policies, improving the effectiveness of the Engineering team.
• Utilize the document management system for revising, controlling, and sharing engineering documentation.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with the design, testing and troubleshooting of new products with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• High computer software competency with 3D modeling experience in Pro‑E and/or Solid Works.
• Minimum 5 years in consumer products or commercial appliances.
• Experience working with Asian suppliers desirable.
• 5 to 10 years in consumer goods industry.

• Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (5% if needed).
