Summary
The Quality Control Technician I/II is responsible for ensuring products meet company food safety, quality, regulatory, and compliance standards. This role supports production operations by conducting inspections, monitoring Good Manufacturing Practices, collecting samples for testing, and identifying and reporting quality issues to maintain the highest product standards.

- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Capable of successfully managing multiple complex tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to successfully complete Food Manager Certification, training, and sous vide production training.
- Previous work experience in a restaurant, food manufacturing facility, food industry, or sanitation company preferred.
- Exposure to sous vide food production audits, Good Manufacturing Practices, and other food safety and quality standards is a plus.
- Conduct and document quality control inspections and process check throughout production.
- Perform employee inspections for personal hygiene compliance and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Monitor and verify compliance with food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and company quality policies.
- Collect product samples for laboratory analysis, microbiological testing, and sensory evaluations.
- Perform equipment calibration according to established QA procedures and standards.
- Identify, document, and report product non-conformities, deviations, and food safety concerns to the QA Manager or QA Supervisor.
- Assist with documentation, food safety records, and compliance reporting.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across departments.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
