* Salary: £130 – £240 per day / £650 - £1200 per week (Dependant on Experience / MPS/UPS)

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Secondary English Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive English department. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, working within a school community that values academic excellence, inclusivity, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, engaging, and well-structured English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE).
* Plan and prepare differentiated resources that challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
* Assess, track, and report on student progress, implementing effective interventions where necessary.
* Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the pastoral care and overall well-being of students.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school and the development of the English curriculum.
What We Are Looking For (Person Specification):
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.
* A degree in English Literature, English Language, or a closely related discipline.
* Proven experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting.
* Excellent subject knowledge and a thorough understanding of the current KS3/KS4 National Curriculum and GCSE exam boards.
* Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive, productive learning environment.
* Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome and encouraged to apply – we offer an exceptional induction program.
