The purpose of this position is to perform preventative maintenance in the interior and exterior of the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

Refill plant-wide foot sanitizer, sanitations, soap dispensers, sanitizer dispensers, and paper towel dispensers.

Clean any spills on the production floor and support warehouse with spills.

Maintain the facility grounds clear of trash, empty exterior trash, maintain smoke area cleaned, and ensure exterior cages are locked.

Configure workstations.

Conduct general building repairs that may include: painting, changing light bulbs, installing office equipment, drywall repair, low‑level plumbing, install & repair LEDs, and etc.

Perform tasks while following GMP, Color Code Programs, and Plant Safety guidelines.

Handling of chemicals following SDS guidelines.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School or GED preferred.
Sensory or judgmental criteria.
Associating with people in a professional manner.
Knowledge and understanding of chemicals, cleanliness and odors.
Visual acuity needed for color coded equipment for cleaning and chemicals.
Able to use various power tools.
Able to work independently and follow oral and written instructions.
Not afraid of heights.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk, bend at the waist and stand; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25‑50 pounds.

Position will frequent the production floor, so operating in standard seasonal warehouse and food processing plant temperature conditions will be required. Work is completed in a facility where nuts, fruits and other allergens are present.
