We are a growing, stable, and highly regarded organization that provides person‑centered supports for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, autism, or acquired brain injury. ResponsibilitiesAs a Residential Counselor, you’ll support residents by:
- Maintaining their physical and emotional health and ensuring safe community living.
- Fostering relationships with housemates, family members, and neighbors.
- Developing and practicing skills that increase independence, confidence, and self‑determination.
- Participating in community activities, work, and volunteer opportunities that reflect their goals and interests.
Your role combines support, supervision, coaching, and companionship, rooted in respect for each individual’s uniqueness. You’ll encourage residents to identify strengths, explore opportunities, and realize their hopes and dreams.
About Our ResidencesOur homes are located in welcoming neighborhoods. Typically, 3–5 people share a home with private bedrooms and shared living spaces. Residents decorate their rooms, while staff provide 24/7 guidance. Shift work offers opportunities to build relationships, see progress, and contribute meaningfully.
Schedule & RateSaturday 9 am – 11 pm and Sunday 9 am – 3 pm (20 hours) – $20.00 / hr
