Radar Subsystem Product Lead

Job Overview

Position: Radar Subsystem Product Lead – Onsite (First Shift)
Location: Marlborough, MA (or Tewksbury, MA)
Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required; U.S. government issued Secret clearance required post‑start.

• Demonstrate technical leadership by driving design, development, integration, and testing to meet performance requirements.
• Ensure contractual commitments for cost, schedule, and technical performance are met for the assigned scope.
• Coordinate and align cross‑functional teams (engineers, manufacturing, suppliers, supply chain) to work cohesively toward common goals, managing workloads and priorities.
• Provide clear, concise status updates, technical details, risks, and solutions to program managers, functional leaders, and customers.
• Develop and execute program plans and budgets, including managing Estimates‑at‑Completion (EACs) and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Make subsystem decisions and guide the team, escalating broader impacts to Chief Program Engineers or Program Managers.
• Partner with leads including chief engineers and technical leads to provide the most cost‑effective technical solutions.
• Identify risks and opportunities early and develop mitigation and capture plans.
• Lead proposal efforts, negotiations, and reviews for new scope or contract modifications to ensure business success and growth.

• Typical education:
  Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 10 years of prior work experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior work experience.
• Minimum seven (7) years of prior work experience that includes at least one of the following: project/program management tools, systems, and/or methodologies;
  Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and/or Risk and Opportunity Management; proposal or capture efforts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance after start date.
• U.S. citizenship required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Experience presenting to customers and/or senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of allocating and flowing down requirements from system to component level.
• Experience interfacing with internal and external customers and finding technical solutions to complex requirements.
• Experience with Radar Receiver / Exciter and Digital subsystems and associated analysis, design, and/or test.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams, including members from Engineering, Operations, Global Supply Chain, and/or Quality through hardware development, production, and test, including system test.
