Contract Recruiter – Technical & Manufacturing Talent
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

About the RoleOur client is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support high‑volume, technical hiring across multiple U.S. locations. This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in a fast‑paced, engineering‑driven environment and understands the unique challenges of sourcing top talent in the machine tool and CNC industries.
You will partner closely with hiring managers, HR, and operations teams to recruit Field Service Engineers, Manufacturing professionals, and other technical roles that support our seven U.S. facilities. Your ability to identify, engage, and close highly skilled candidates will directly impact our service capabilities and customer success.
Key Responsibilities- Manage full‑cycle recruiting for Field Service Engineers, Manufacturing roles, and other technical positions across seven U.S. locations.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract candidates with CNC machine tool experience, automation knowledge, and advanced manufacturing backgrounds.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and business priorities.
- Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for technical competency, cultural fit, and long‑term potential.
- Maintain an active pipeline of CNC‑savvy talent for current and future hiring needs.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, feedback loops, and offer processes to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates to leadership on hiring progress and challenges.
- Represent Methods Machine Tools professionally and effectively in all candidate interactions.
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or machine tool industries.
- Proven success recruiting Field Service Engineers
, CNC machinists
, manufacturing engineers
, or similar technical roles. - Strong understanding of CNC machines, machine tool technology, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting multiple locations or distributed teams.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and manage competing priorities.
- Comfortable using ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and modern recruiting techniques.
- Work with a respected leader in CNC machine tools and automation solutions.
