In accordance with Article 40 (Transfers) of the Negotiated Agreement, the following position is now open for qualified candidates:

Position: Full‑time district substitute custodian. The assignment will be as a daily substitute at all buildings in the district. The building and shift will be assigned as needed, with consideration to a weekly shift schedule when possible.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive rapport with students and staff, show enthusiasm for custodial work, and assume responsibility with minimal direct supervision. The candidate must also be able to lift at least 50 pounds to load and unload trucks.

Preferred qualifications include a working knowledge and licensure or certification in plumbing, alarm systems, locksets, computer use, etc. Salary and work year will be established by the Board.

• Current clear BCI/FBI background checks, dated within one year of employment.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds to load and unload trucks.
• Demonstrated reliability, ability to follow instructions, and desire to work in a team environment.
• Evaluation of job performance (past and present), attendance, and evaluations.
• Responsibilities listed in the Board adopted Job Description for this position.
