Khalsa Secondary School is looking to fill two openings for September 2025 for Careers and Humanities positions. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Education and BC teaching certification. Responsibilities include developing lesson content, engaging students through diverse teaching strategies, and assessing student performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement effective lesson plans
• Utilize various teaching methods for diverse learners
• Foster a positive learning environment for all students
• Provide continuous assessment and feedback
• Collaborate with staff to improve learning experiences
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field
• BC teaching certification required
• Prior teaching experience, especially in Humanities preferred
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt teaching for varied learning styles
