Full-time permanent position with a probationary period. Shift work may be required based on production needs.

Wage: $18.25/hour

Benefits Package:
Competitive hourly wage, overtime opportunities as available, and extended medal and dental after after 3 months.

Job Duties
  • Handle, sort, and move fish and seafood products safely throughout the plant.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and processing surfaces to maintain food safety standards.
  • Assist with packing, labelling, and preparing products for storage or shipment.
  • Inspect product for quality, defects, and proper handling during processing steps.
  • Follow workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Support basic operation and setup of plant equipment as directed by supervisors.
  • Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily production targets.
  • Report equipment issues, product concerns, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  • Other duties that apply.
Job Requirements
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and work in a fast-paced, cold or wet environment.
  • No formal education required; secondary school is an asset.
  • Experience in fish processing or general labour is an asset, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Strong attention to detail when handling food products and following instructions.
  • Ability to work well with others and follow directions from supervisors.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and good hygiene practices.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
