Join a dynamic woodworking team in Surrey, BC as a Cabinetmaker, with a focus on precision woodworking and craftsmanship. This full-time role requires on-site work, operating machinery, and finishing products with care.
The position is permanent, requiring two to three years of experience in cabinetmaking or similar fields. You will be responsible for studying plans and specifications, operating woodworking machines, and fitting parts together to create high-quality furniture. Maintaining a safe and clean workspace is essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate power saws and woodworking machinery efficiently
• Study and interpret plans and specifications
• Trim joints and fit materials to form complete units
• Sand and apply finishes such as varnish and stain
• Repair and restyle wooden furniture and fixtures
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school education
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work on-site without remote options
• Strong organizational skills
• Physically capable of handling materials up to 20 lbs
