PositionSummary
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Operations & Material Flow Intern to join our operations team for a 10–12 week internship. This role provides hands‑on exposure to how materials move across a manufacturing organization, including planning, inventory control, production support, and logistics coordination.
The intern will support projects focused on improving material flow, data accuracy, and operational efficiency. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain visibility into how materials connect multiple functions across the business, including purchasing, engineering, production, and logistics. This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to apply classroom knowledge in a real‑world manufacturing environment while developing a strong understanding of end‑to‑end operations.

- Assist in material planning and coordination, including order tracking and inventory alignment
- Support ERP transactions and help maintain accurate material data
- Analyze material flow and identify inefficiencies or improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with purchasing, planning, production, engineering, and logistics teams to support daily operations
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, including workflow analysis and problem‑solving activities
- Use Excel to analyze data, track key metrics, and support decision‑making
- Assist with inventory analysis to improve accuracy and optimize stock levels
- Contribute to projects that improve on‑time delivery, material availability, and operational efficiency
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, Business Analytics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
- Interest in manufacturing, operations, and supply chain processes
