Registered Nurse in Pediatric Emergency Care

You will be responsible for delivering personalized nursing care to pediatric patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Your role will include performing initial assessments, planning interventions, and ensuring effective communication with families throughout the care process. You’ll also play a key part in educating families on health management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing nursing assessments of pediatric patients

• Develop and modify care plans collaboratively with families

• Document patient care and progress thoroughly

• Assist with discharge planning and referrals to community resources

• Engage in educational programs and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:

• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing

• Current RN registration with the BCCNM

• Two years of clinical experience in pediatrics

• Relevant post-graduate certification or coursework

• Proficient in pediatric IV therapy and assessment skills
