This role requires a Diploma in Social Work or related field, with two years of experience in community services. You will provide outreach, emotional support, and resource referrals for clients dealing with domestic violence. Flexibility is essential, with hours scheduled between Monday-Saturday to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outreach to women affected by violence
• Conduct client intake and demographic assessments
• Recommend appropriate community services
• Offer emotional support through active listening
• Facilitate understanding of clients' trauma impacts
Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Work or related field
• Understanding of women's issues and trauma
• Experience in emergency response situations
• Strong mediation and resolution skills
• Valid Class 5 Drivers’ License and personal vehicle
Deliver impactful support to victims of crime while collaborating with community partners at DIVERSE city.
