FRAFCA is seeking a dedicated Family Wellness Worker for its Ey Stélmexw program. In this position, you will provide trauma-informed, culturally safe support to mothers facing parenting and mental health challenges. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth system navigation and empower families through outreach and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one case management and outreach support
• Facilitate healing and parenting circles for mothers
• Build program materials and efficient referral pathways
• Collaborate with Elders and cultural mentors
• Track client progress and evaluate wellness plans
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in social work or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Indigenous community services
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural practices
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Clear vulnerable sector check
