We are currently recruiting for passionate and dedicated English Teachers to work across a number of secondary schools throughout Birmingham from September 2026.

We have opportunities available in Central and North Birmingham areas, including Sutton Coldfield, Erdington, Great Barr, Alum Rock, Washwood Heath, Saltley and surrounding B8 locations.

These roles range from short-term assignments to long-term placements and are suitable for both experienced English Teachers and ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

The Role:

Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
Full-time opportunities available
Short to long-term assignments
Planning and marking responsibilities may be included depending on the role
September 2026 starts available

The Ideal Candidate :

Holds QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
Has experience teaching English within UK secondary schools
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management
Delivers engaging and inclusive lessons
Is adaptable, reliable and passionate about English education
