Hours: 36.50 hours, all year round

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2027

Salary: NPO2 - NPO3 29: 35 (£39,862 - £46,142) FTE

We’re Looking For

We are seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking ICT Manager to lead and stabilise our ICT operations during a period of significant organisational change. As we transition to an external fully managed ICT Service, this interim role will provide essential leadership, technical expertise and continuity, ensuring our systems remain secure, resilient and fully operational.

The successful candidate will oversee the ICT Support Team, manage a complex hybrid network environment, and drive improvements in cyber security, service delivery and digital capability across the school. You will work closely with senior leaders to support strategic ICT planning, maintain critical infrastructure, and ensure that staff and students receive a high‑quality, responsive ICT service.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, is confident managing change, and can balance hands‑on technical work with strategic oversight.

Main Responsibilities
  • A strong technical leader with experience managing complex ICT networks
  • Expertise in cyber security, incident response and safeguarding technologies
  • Experience leading ICT teams and developing staff
  • Ability to support organisational change, particularly during centralisation
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to outstanding service
