Shift Pattern: 3‑Shift Rotation (Nights: 10 pm – 6 am Sunday–Thursday; PM: 2 pm – 10 pm Monday–Friday; AM: 6 am – 2 pm Monday–Friday)

A well‑established and growing manufacturing business based in Sutton Coldfield is looking to recruit a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to strengthen its Engineering team. Operating within a stable industry, the company offers long‑term job security and opportunities for development into Team Leader and Supervisor roles.

This opportunity has arisen due to a retirement within their team.

This role is ideal for engineers from FMCG, food, automotive, plastics, packaging, or heavy manufacturing backgrounds.

As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining fast‑paced production machinery through both planned and reactive maintenance.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Respond to reactive breakdowns quickly and effectively
• Electrical fault finding on production equipment
• Mechanical maintenance including robotics, motors, gearboxes, belts and chains
• Work with hydraulics and pneumatics systems
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects
• Collaborate with a skilled team of engineers

• Experience in an industrial/ manufacturing environment
• Multiskilled – both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
• Ability to read electrical drawings and fault find
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude
• Competitive salary of £50,000 – £56,000 DOE
