Salary: £38,000, rising to £40,000 after 6 months based on performance
What You'll Do- Carry out fire door inspections across commercial, residential, and public‑sector sites
- Complete maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and replacements to ensure full compliance
- Produce clear, accurate inspection reports using digital tools
- Advise clients on compliance, remedial actions, and best‑practice solutions
- Represent Fire Door Specialists Ltd with professionalism, confidence, and technical authority
- Work independently across the UK with full support from our expert team
- Experience in fire door inspection, carpentry, joinery, or passive fire protection
- Strong understanding of BS 8214, BM TRADA, and fire door compliance standards (training can be provided)
- Ability to diagnose issues, carry out repairs, and deliver high‑quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills
- A proactive, problem‑solving mindset
- FDIS qualification is highly desirable (but not essential for the right candidate)
- Full UK driving licence
- £38,000 starting salary, rising to £40,000 after 6 months based on performance
