Job Summary
The successful candidate will analyze system requirements, perform technical evaluations of potential architectures, and lead a multi‑disciplinary proposal team in developing and recommending integrated system solutions. Regular engagement with customer technical representatives is essential, requiring strong technical expertise as well as effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- System analysis and design for microwave measurement applications
- Develop system‑level architectures and cable diagrams
- Analyse RF equipment configurations to verify requirements
- Prepare proposal inputs and technical analyses for solutions
- Prepare cost estimates for proposed solutions
- Communicate with customer technical representatives and promote company products & solutions
- Provide customer support through technical interchange
- Write papers on measurement techniques and best practices for internal/external use
- Perform engineering tasks on customer‑funded or internal R&D programs
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 7+ years of applicable work experience
- Direct experience with wireless, RF and radar test methodologies and system design
- Experience with:
- Electromagnetic theory and applications
- Electromechanical design and applications
- RF System design
- Microwave communications
- Strong analytical skills to understand complex technical systems and problem solving
- Experience with proposals, customer interaction, systems design and analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work across organization functions to develop solutions for the customer
- Legal right to work in the U.S. and authorized to access export‑controlled information and source code
- May require 10% domestic and international travel
- Familiarity with NSI
2000, MI‑3000, MATLAB, GRASP, HFSS, CST, and other analytical tools - Hands‑on experience using a variety of Antenna Test Ranges
- Computational electromagnetic modelling and design experience
