About This Role

The Triage RN in Family Medicine at Mass General Brigham is responsible for providing patient care in a high-volume ambulatory setting, focusing on phone triage and collaborating with the care team to ensure efficient and patient-centered care delivery.

• Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
• Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience:

• Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
• Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current RN License in Massachusetts required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
