X2 Project Manager - Data Centre

Overview We're seeking a delivery-focused Project Manager to lead the end-to-end acquisition and delivery of small data centre sites within a regulated financial services environment.

This role is responsible for driving execution from design through to build and delivery, working closely with procurement and external partners, while retaining full ownership of project outcomes. Details:
Location - London Hybrid - 3 days / week in the office Duration - Initially until year-end - extensions likely Rate - £600 - £675 / day Inside IR35 via Umbrella

Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of data centre build projects (infrastructure, cages, fit-out) Manage project timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery Oversee third-party vendors and delivery partners, ensuring performance and accountability Coordinate design activities, managing changes and technical queries Own budget tracking, forecasting, and cost control Ensure adherence to governance, change management, and regulatory requirements Provide clear reporting and updates to senior stakeholders Key Experience Proven experience delivering data centre projects end-to-end Strong background in vendor management and working with third parties Experience partnering with procurement teams on supplier engagement and delivery Solid financial management skills (budgeting, forecasting, reporting) Experience operating in regulated environments on a global scale Strong stakeholder management and communication skills If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
