• Conduct daily whole group, small group, in person and individual sessions based on IEP goals and objectives to meet the individual needs of students.
• Maintain student attendance logs and progress data for all students.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team as appropriate.
• Confer with parents, administrators and other professionals as needed.
• Attend PPT meetings as required.
• Complete ESY progress reports at the end of the program, upload on Power School (Tienet), and provide to Parents/Guardians/Surrogates.
• Show willingness to learn and use new technologies and Google extensions such as Kami.
• Other duties assigned by the summer school administrator.

Applicants must have appropriate special education certification for position seeking.

Employees appointed to positions in this class must have adequate physical strength, stamina, physical agility and visual and auditory acuity and must maintain such physical fitness as to be able to perform the duties of the class. A physical examination may be required.
