ESY for K‑5 Inclusion:

Monday – Thursday, July 6 – July 30, 2026, 7:45 am – 12:45 pm (hours may vary depending on assignment/site)

ESY for K‑5 Inclusion – Additional

Shifts:

Monday – Thursday, July 6 – July 30, 2026, 7:45 am – 10:30 am & 11:00 am – 1:45 pm (hours may vary depending on assignment/site)

ESY Autism and CBL Programs:

Monday – Friday, July 6 – July 31, 2026

Elementary

Hours:

7:45 am – 1:45 pm (hours may vary depending on assignment/site)

Middle School / High School

Hours:

7:15 am – 1:15 pm (hours may vary depending on assignment/site)

Mandatory professional learning will be held on July 2 from 9:00‑11:00 am
. A Google Meet link will be sent out at a later date.

Reports to: EAS or ESY Site Administrator

Job Description
  • Develop lessons based on IEP goals and objectives to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Provide direct instruction using a variety of techniques.
  • Communicate with the school team, parents, guardians, and outside agencies regarding student progress.
  • Ensure modifications and accommodations are implemented throughout the day.
  • Manage student behavior; follow behavior plans, implement behavior contracts, and set up classroom behavior plans.
  • Use district‑approved tools to design small‑group instruction.
  • Provide differentiated instruction based on identified student needs.
  • Maintain student attendance and progress data.
  • Complete ESY progress reports at the end of the program, upload on CT‑SEDS, and provide to parents/guardians/surrogates.
  • Use technologies appropriate to the learning needs of the student (Google Classroom, Kami, Atlas curriculum sites).
  • Other duties assigned by the summer school administrator.
  • Preferred candidates will be considered for employment.
Certification

Applicants must have appropriate special education certification for the position sought.
