Qualifications:

Active and unencumbered RN license
At least one year of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
Proficiency in invasive cardiac procedures and perioperative patient monitoring
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Exceptional communication skills and ability to work harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities under pressure

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care to Cath Lab patients
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
Continuously monitor and assess patient status, recognizing urgent changes and responding accordingly
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with hospital policies
Ensure adherence to established infection control and safety protocols
Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the procedure and recovery process
