Accounts Receivable / Billing Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable / Billing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing billing processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to resolve account-related issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily payments, including checks received via Remote Deposit Processing (RDP)
• Distribute monthly billing statements electronically to clients in a timely manner
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging, following up on outstanding balances
• Validate and verify all checks and ACH transactions entered into the system
• Reconcile processed transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, billing issues, and client inquiries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Collaborate with internal teams to support overall accounting operations

Qualifications & Skills:

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
