PreConstruction Coordinator - Insulation

The Preconstruction Coordinator (Insulation) supports the preconstruction and production process by transforming estimate data into accurate, production-ready deliverables. This role is responsible for creating Schedule of Values (SOVs), coordinating submittals, building internal system entries, and preparing takeoff-based documentation to ensure a smooth handoff from estimating to production. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tampa, FL, requiring strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Build accurate SOVs based on estimating data and contract requirements
• Ensure alignment between estimate line items and billing structure
• Perform quality control checks and reconcile totals prior to release
• Prepare and submit submittals based on approved Scope of Work (SOW)
• Track submittals through approval and manage revisions as needed

• Build system entries to support production, billing, and reporting
• Input key job details including scope, contract values, and production notes
• Validate accuracy to prevent downstream issues impacting scheduling or billing

• Generate “Pages with Takeoff” PDF packages for production/field teams
• Consolidate takeoffs into clear, organized, and user-friendly formats

• Ensure all deliverables (SOV, submittals, system entry, takeoff PDFs) are complete and accurate prior to release
• Maintain high standards of quality control and ownership of preconstruction deliverables
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve missing or unclear information

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to interpret construction takeoffs, scopes, and basic plans/specifications
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Excel, PDFs, and construction-related software platforms
• Strong communication skills with internal teams (estimating, sales, production)

• Experience in insulation, specialty subcontracting, or construction preconstruction
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Bluebeam, or takeoff software (Stack/OST)
• Understanding of construction workflows from estimating through production
