Position DetailsThe Office of Admissions at The University of Tampa is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated International Admissions Counselor to join our admission team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in recruiting and advising prospective students for both undergraduate and graduate programs. The position reports to the Assistant VP for International Enrollment.
Actively engage with international prospective students through various channels to promote undergraduate and graduate programs. Assist with research and development of the international marketing strategy and implement‑approved plans in coordination with the Assistant VP for International Enrollment.
Provide comprehensive guidance to prospective students regarding admission requirements, application procedures, and academic programs.
Manage and process international student applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with admission standards.
Collaborate with academic departments and other stakeholders to stay informed about program offerings and changes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for applicants.
Represent the institution at international events, fairs, and educational exhibitions to promote our programs and establish partnerships.
Offer support and counseling to international students, addressing queries related to admissions, academic requirements, and campus life. Serve as a liaison between the Office of International Student Services and international student applicants and their families.
Perform additional tasks as assigned during the annual admission cycle.

Summer:
Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Additional hours required depending upon the demands of the annual college admissions cycle.
