The Dev Ops Engineer supports mission-critical objectives under the referenced work order by designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure management, and ensuring scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environments. This role creates environment-specific Kubernetes configuration packages with STIG-aligned hardening.

Job Description- The Dev Ops Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure management.
- The position requires creating and maintaining environment-specific Kubernetes configuration packages with STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC enforcement.
- Engineers will implement secrets injection strategies using FedRAMP-compliant tools (AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault).
- The role includes integrating CI/CD pipelines for secure automated deployment and rollback of ArcGIS components.
The contractor shall provide personnel who meet one of the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or
- A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in Dev Ops engineering.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- Deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Automating cloud infrastructure.
- Implementing secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelines.
- Working with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
- Utilizing observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, Azure Dev Ops, AWS Code Pipeline).
- Working knowledge of microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.
- Proficiency in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security best practices.
- Strong understanding of monitoring/logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Ability to implement STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC enforcement.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer – Professional (Preferred, Not Required)
No clearance required for off-site duty location, or the ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance as specified by the program.
