Position HighlightsThe Research Associate II will support cutting‑edge translational cancer research within the Hwu Lab. This role is responsible for performing laboratory‑based research and contributing to ongoing preclinical and immuno‑oncology studies.
Ideal CandidateExperience with
mouse models and in vivo tumor studies.
Proficiency in aseptic technique, cell culture, and primary cell line maintenance.
Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
Experience with general laboratory techniques and experimental protocols.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
Commitment to team science, integrity, and accountability.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform in vivo mouse studies
, including tumor measurements, injections, and colony management.
Collect, organize, and maintain accurate research data (electronic and physical formats).
Conduct data analysis using established protocols with minimal supervision.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and documentation.
Support ongoing research projects and contribute to experimental design execution.
Credentials and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (required)
Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on research experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
