Job Description: Premium Plumbing is seeking an experienced and driven Plumbing Foreman to lead our growing team. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can effectively manage a crew while actively contributing to commercial plumbing projects.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading teams and possesses strong knowledge of Florida commercial plumbing codes. This position requires technical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
Includes take‑home company vehicle, phone, and tablet.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a team of plumbers on commercial job sites, ensuring all work complies with Florida plumbing codes.
- Perform hands‑on plumbing work while overseeing daily project operations.
- Read, interpret, and execute work based on blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for field team members, providing leadership, support, and training.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and developing a strong workforce.
- Resolve on‑site issues quickly to minimize delays and disruptions.
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman or similar leadership role in commercial plumbing.
- Strong leadership and team‑management skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of Florida commercial plumbing codes, systems, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- OSHA certification or other safety training preferred.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and carry heavy tools and materials.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, and at elevated heights.
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes.
- Proficiency working with PVC, CPVC, copper (sweat and Pro Press), and cast iron piping systems.
