Overview
Heavy Civil/Industrial Project Manager - Water/Wastewater for a Phoenix-based water and wastewater treatment plant construction team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee and manage complex water and wastewater projects and work with a diverse team in the construction industry.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all aspects of water and wastewater and pump station construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
- Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, contractors, and other professionals during all phases of project development and execution.
- Prepare, review, and update project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with these plans.
- Coordinate and supervise the construction process from conceptual development through final construction, ensuring work follows design specifications.
- Manage and resolve issues that arise during the project; document and communicate changes to all relevant parties.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards related to water and wastewater construction projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders; keep parties informed of progress and changes.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in heavy civil/industrial construction.
- Proven experience managing water and wastewater construction projects, including underground utilities, pump stations, site work, structural concrete; knowledge of process piping, mechanical piping, and yard piping is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to coordinate and oversee a professional team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve project issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards related to water and wastewater construction.
- Proficiency in project management software and related applications.
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation:
